Leap of Faith

We all must get to a place where our faith must grow larger than the problems we can see.

It has been a battle getting this website to a place where I felt comfortable sharing it.

At times I have allowed my fears to hold me back. My fear of failing. That feeling of not being good enough.

Scared that maybe what I have to say is not important or why would people want to listen to me.

Worried that I may have a misspelled word or say the wrong thing.

Then I remembered who my God is and who He created me to be.

Speak Encouragement To Yourself

I began to rehearse the word of God in my heart and passionately out loud.

Finding comfort that God has not given me a spirit of fear, but He has given me a sound mind to think clearly.

This mind that He has fearfully and wonderfully made is capable of exercising faith.

Faith is the environment needed for the seed of God's word within my heart to germinate.

It can develop into a type of faith tree that can move mountains.+

If God chooses not to move the obstacles, then He will give me strength to go around or climb them.

Let Faith Mature

Faith must be tested. Experiences will reveal whether we have little faith or great faith.

Great faith can acknowledge what is; yet see beyond unlimited possibilities.

Even though fear is present, faith is understanding that there are three reason that may hinder a particular outcome.

  1. You. Your thoughts or decisions can hinder your ability to move beyond the present.
  2. Life lesson. There may be a life lesson that God may have you learn or He’s strengthening your character.
  3. God has something better. Sometimes things don’t work out or go as you planned. Even when we don’t understand it, God always has an expected end.

When you understand these three things, and you decide to take a leap of faith

…fear is powerless.

It is so sweet to trust in Jesus; and to take Him at His useful word; just to rest upon His precious promise

and to know “Thus saith the Lord”

…to you.

The word of God should not be something we only read about. The Word must become our flesh and be a part of our daily experience.

Have The Right Person On Your Side.

God loves you more than you can image. Jeremiah 31:3

He is in your corner rooting for you. He will protect and fight for you.

“Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God’s.” 2 Chronicles 20:15;

“Be strong and courageous, be not afraid nor dismayed… for there be more with us than with him: With him is an arm of flesh; but with us is the Lord our God to help us, and to fight our battles. ” 2 Chronicles 32:7-8

“…for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee…” Isaiah 49:25

“Say not thou, I will recompense evil; but wait on the Lord, and he shall save thee.” Proverbs 20:22

“So shall they fear the name of the Lord from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him.” Isaiah 59:19

God really has your back. You just need to be on the right side of the fight.

In conclusion, “With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.” Mark 10:27

There is so much that God has planted in your heart.

He wants you to take a leap of faith and carry out His plans upon this earth.

Jesus wants to reproduce our Heavenly Father’s character within the reality of our lives.

His character will help us navigate and get through this journey called life.

“I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.” Psalms 32:8

Trust God when fear of the unknown wants to hinder you from doing something you’ve never done before.

God promised to never leave you and never to forsake you on this journey.

He will give you power and comfort through Jesus’ representative on earth.

Let the Comforter comfort your heart.

“He shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance” John 14:26

God will teach you personally and He will connect you to the right relationships and mentors who will help you along the way.

Be bold, stand in the power and authority given to you by God. Luke 9:1

Stop procrastinating and start putting God’s plan for your life into action.

I hope this inspires you to take a leap of faith.

Don’t let fear hold you back anymore. If you ever need to be reminded, then come back to this blog post

and encourage yourself!

Have a wonderful productive day in the Lord!

Stay Blessed!

~Sis. Precious
